Hopper Engineering and Consultancy provided services for the detailed design of about 100.000 cubic meters of reinforced concrete buildings and divided in:  

• • Electrical Substation ES05 
  • Resistant Instruments Building RIB05; 
  • Electrical Substation ES13; 
  • Electrical Substation ES01 
  • Resistant Instruments Building RIB01; 
  • Electrical Substation ES02 
  • Resistant Instruments Building RIB02; 
  • Electrical Substation ES10. 

  The design was made according to the American and Mexican code. The buildings were designed according to relevant earthquake and blast loading by means of linear (modal response analyses) and non-linear analyses (non-linear time histories) performed with STAAD Pro v8i and SAP2000. 

An additional study has been performed using advanced non-linear analyses by means of Extreme loading for structure. The study demonstrated that the use of advanced non-linear analyses can cut constructions costs of about 50%
