Hopper Engineering and Consultancy was on field after the severe earthquake which hit Emilia Romagna in 2012. The work was on a volunteering based and it was about post-earthquake visual inspections to allow immediate reoccupation of buildings (if found not damaged by the earthquake).  

AEDES forms were the documents to be signed in order to prescribe immediate reoccupation or need to seismic assessment and retrofit.  

Hopper was part of team 811 which was composed of: Alessandro Marasca, Cristian Pinti (Coding srl) and Prof. Guido Magenes (associated professor at Pavia university).  

The work was organized by Eucentre in collaboration with Protezione Civile Nazionale and Reluis.
