The reconstruction project increased the production capacity of Azerikimya. The facility produces raw materials for polypropylene and polyethylene production units that are currently under construction. It covers domestic demand, increases the export potential, and enhances the stability and safety of the technological process, which ultimately improves the quality of the raw materials and products manufactured at the plant. In the context of the reconstruction project, the modernization of the current installations will be completed by 2019.
Hopper Engineering and Consultancy provided services for the detailed design of the following reinforced concrete buildings:
- Electrical Substation LCBR;
- Central control building;
- Storage rooms;
- Satellite buildings;
- Transformers.
Our design work complies with the Eurocode. The buildings were built according to relevant earthquake and blast loadings by means of linear (modal response analyses) and non-linear analyses (non-linear time histories) performed with STAAD Pro v8i and SAP2000.
