The refining story that started with the processing of domestic crude oil in Batman in 1955 continues until today, with the activities carried out under the roof of Tüpraş through a total refining capacity of 28.1 million tons from its four refineries in Kocaeli, İzmir, Kırıkkale and Batman since 1983. Tüpraş is the largest industrial company in Turkey. 

 Hopper Engineering and Consultancy provided services for the detailed design of the foundations of the transformers.
